EnV2 (VX9100) random reboots?

Owens

Hey there everybody! I just got a new EnV2 and I have been having an odd issue with it lately. As I am on the phone talking to someone, it randomly reboots itself. Even if it is on speakerphone without me touching it, it will reboot itself. This issue has only happened twice so far, but I was wondering if anyone is having a similar issue with their VX9100?

Any thoughts or ideas of what is going on would be appreciated. It's a rather annoying glitch.

I had the same issue...among others...with my last EnV2. Sometimes it would reboot, sometimes I had to turn it back on myself, and sometimes I even had to remove the battery for it to come back on. Also the 'Send', and the 7, 8, and 9 buttons on the front wouldn't work. I got a replacement EnV2 from Verizon, and now the back light flashes on by itself every 2 minutes and it has already drained the battery by half in one day after being fully charged. If its your first replacement you have to get the same thing. But as long as you are still within your 1 year warranty Verizon will replace it. To me this phone is a piece of junk though.

My boyfriend has the same problem with his phone and has sought help elsewhere but I thought I would post his problem. I was going to get this LG Canada phone as well but I have reconsidered...

This is what he has to say about his LG EnV2,

"I am on my 2nd Env2 and about to get my 3rd probably tomorrow. I really like the hardware design of the phone but this keeps resetting during my phone calls, disconnects bluetooth and all just out of the blue. I have no real way of reproducing this 100% of the time. I am pretty sure I will have the same issue with my 3rd one so I'm gettting ready to probably get a different phone."
