LG VX8000 vibrate and ring, front LCD questions
I recently purchased the VX8000 phone but cannot seem to figure out if you can set the phone to vibrate and then ring. My old LG was able to do this. Also what purpose does the front LCD serve with the flip open? I've set it to have the same wallpaper as the main LCD but when the flip is open all I see on the front LCD is the Verizon Wireless screen. With the flip closed do the buttons on the front LCD do anything besides play tunes?

Thanks for your oh so helpful response grantizzle, but the manual does not answer all my questions. I suppose you cannot either. I'm hoping someone better informed will respond.

Well... your vx8000 is not able to do this...

When the phone is open the outside display does absolutely nothing...

yes you can do other things with the buttons on front..... you can use it to answer calls with the play button if you have an incoming call with the headset in....also you can use them to scroll through the pic/vid options

With the phone closed, you can use speakerphone as well as the headset. While using the headset, you can answer calls with the front buttons, and when not in calls, the front buttons can navigate through pics/vids.

Incorrect - you can also look at / take pics with it while the flip is closed and view/take vids.
