LG VX 4500 Call Waiting Caller ID

Hello! I am strongly considering purchasing the LG VX 4500. I read a "Negative Review" stating that the user can't see who is calling when they are on the phone. I have never known a recent (within the past few years) cell phone to NOT show who is calling when on the other line with someone. Could someone please help and let me know if the VX 4500 does, in fact, have the Call Waiting Caller ID. (Of course, we'd all like to know who is calling on the other line before interrupting the current phone call!)

Thanks! 😁

My phone works fine with Caller ID and CALL WAITING CALLER ID. I just had the software upgrade performed by Verizon and the phone is even better for hands free operation. The upgrade was intended for visually impaired customers but makes the phone great for use why driving. You can access many of the phones features with your voice including programming numbers. GREAT PHONE and I recommend it. Only fault I had was Verizon had to swap my phone out for a new one within a year of purchase date because speaker went up. Hope I helped you.

😕 The speaker went up? Not sure I understand what you mean. Yes, you have helped! Thanks!

I've been using the phone (I just purchased it 2-3 days ago) Driving Mode and the people I've talked to so far say that I sound fine!! I think it's just the neatest thing.

Have you tried downloading ringers from Sony Music Box? That's really neat!

Thanks! 😁

Yep, the speaker went up. The phone would ring once and then you would here nothing. When I tried to turn the speaker on to use some of the phones features I would here a loud noise for half a second and then the speaker would not work. The phone is useless without the speaker because many of its features are dependent on it. I have tried downloading ring tones but they do not seem as loud as the originals that come with the phone. Glad you like it. Wish it had a QWERTY keyboard then I would sleep with it every night, lol. Have a good one.
