Lg1200 data cable question

I have the pc sync 7050 software. I have the 6000 cable which im not sure is the right one and my phone does not connect to the pc using usb to ser. Does one of you pros at this can help with anything would be very helpful and thankful. Are just tell me what I need to use> ty
