Return of the Kyocera Smartphone! But not in North Am

FYI. For the past few years, about every six months, I contact Kyocera asking if they will ever come out with a new smart phone. They always say they have no plans to do so. Well, about two weeks ago I sent an email to Kyocera asking them if they would ever come out with a follow up to the 7135 (I am a previous 7135 user), and the response I got back was that in fact, they do plan to come out with another smart phone, but it will not be available in North America. Hopefully, if their return to the smart phone market is more successful this time, they will make it available in NA. Keep hope alive!

Yeah, I want to know why would you want Kyocera smartphone? have they ever made one???
Their biggest screen on all of their phone is 2" and so far I have not seen any phone that stand out in the crowd worthy of getting one, let alone smartphone! They like to make phone with tiny screen squinting your eyeballs out to use them... I think Q9 h/c/m/global, BB 8130, Samsung i-760, JackII, N95, vx10000 will eat them alive, don't you think? no dust to see...in USA or Canada.
