Thanks for your feedback.

I just pulled the Koi page. I have never had a Kyocera but this phone looks interesting. Unfortunately, it does not have PC Sync and the speaker is only half duplex. Lastly, It may or may not be out by the end of the year.

I guess I posted here in the hopes of newer Samsungs on VZW. I pulled the phonescoop new phones page and at least 9 of 10 are GSM. Of the few newer VZW phones, many are digi only and I need the trimode.

V710 seems to have the combo of features that I am interested in (and of course a few that I don't care about). I am just a bit intimidated by the negative feedback that is posted, especially the most recent pointing to a high return rate. Combine that with the cost of accessories (which I doubt are returnable with the phone). By the time you add an extra battery, usb w/phonetools, TF, and a desktop charger you have spent the price of the phone!

I guess I was just hoping to get some understanding as to why so many of the new phones are all GSM especially when the largest cell provider is CDMA. Even Sprint has better phones but their service is not as clear sounding as VZW and their coverage is no where near as comprehensive. I guess if I must stick with VZW, I will just have to deal with their limited phone offerings! Crying or Very sad

Of course, any more input is certainly welcome!!! Very Happy

Thanks again
