I feel your pain!

I bought a Samsung SGH-S300 three months ago, and a couple of weeks ago the screen went blank. Like you, I figured all was well...all I had to do was fall back on the warranty.

So I email the Customer Rep, and they email me back, saying that they can't do anything because the phone is not manufactured for use in the USA, and therefore (due to FCC regulations) they can't support the phone!

What a load of BS. The warranty doesn't say anything about WHERE the phone was purchased, just that they'd replace it.
