SPH-A680 reviews

I am looking at upgrading 4 phones and would like them to be identical (for options and features.) Although I don't need/want the camera features, the carrier is offering the A680.

Could those using this phone post a current review? I've read the on-line reviews but most were posted shortly after purchasing.

Thank you,
Tony

Well Tony, I have owned the phone for six months and here is how I feel about it.
Pros:
Only five dropped calls in six months.
Very small & lightweight.
Long-lasting battery.
Large 2MB of memory that stores 75+ ringtones.
Great user interface.
SMS effortless to use.
Clear, crisp headset sound.
Vibrate+Ringer.
Blue backlit keys.
E-mail & PCS vision very easy to use.
Powersave mode & airplane mode.
Speaker independant voice dial.
Ringer/Voice volume keys on side.

Con:
Gets a little hot when used for long periods.

Overall:
This is the 6th phone I have owned and it makes the others look like dog poo. I have dropped it over a hundred times and it still works great. I give it a 9.8. I hope you get this phone...it will not d...

(Although I haven't tired Powersave. What does it do?)
I agree; it's a great choice and I am happy with the A680. Tony

Additional Pros:
Entry & Sort feature by Speed Dial
Quickly and easily re-locate Speed Dials
Launch Pad (moved VoiceSignal to Up key)
Wide selection of customization for Contacts

Cons:
Ringer Volume too limited;
External Display shuts off completely
Only one choice for external display if you want to see message icons or signal status;
External camera key (& Launch Pad key) are too easy to press - I'd like to be able to disable the camera keys as I use it infrequently;
No free download function for photos - pictures must be se...
