Samsung & T-Mobile

Why doesn't Samsung make tri-band phones for T-Mobile? They have the D415, whereas the D410 is tri-band and not offered with T-Mobile. The R225, X105, E105, or E715 aren't tri-band. The upcoming E315 is dual-band too. Why not?

most, if not all GSM samsung phones in the US are dual band, thats just the way of life....if it works fine here then why worry? you wont get anything by getting the 1800 band in the US, nor would you see any benefit having the 850 band on Tmobile unless you roam onto the ATT or Cingular network, the only thing a third band would offer is a slight change in international coverage, and it is rumored that the E715 is quadband capable and there are people on HoFo working on a firmware that would allow this

Samsung makes phones to the service providers request...there for if T-Mobile does not ask them to produce a tri-band phone ...they don't ......

T-mobile doesn't request some of these features because that's how they cut costs. That's why their phones and plans are cheaper; they exclude some things.
