Beginning

Andrew Ryan first began construction of Rapture in 1946. Using his own private steam-liner, the Olympian, he transported building supplies to the coordinates where the city would be built, roughly 63º 2' N, 29º 55' W 40 fathoms below the sea in the North Atlantic ocean. A building platform, nicknamed "the Sinker", was sunk from the Olympian, bringing the supplies and crewmen to sea floor and then permanently moored at the bottom.

The city was primarily designed by the architectural firm Wales & Wales, and the art-deco metropolis was meant to be the ideal utopia; where art, industry, and science would thrive undisturbed by interventions from governments and other social agencies. Siemens Great, but AT&T kills the deal

Unless you want to quit your job and become a full time AT&T customer, don't buy this product, b/c you have to deal w/AT&T.

AT&T will leave you w/out cell phone service, in the case of porting your number from say Veizon, and they will overcharge you. Also, if you have any problems, then (I'm not kidding) you better be ready for 8-12 hours per problem of hold time and more run around than Bill Clinton chasing an intern.

Thanks

Locked S46?

I plan to do some traveling in Europe this summer so I dragged out my trusty old S46 that has not been under AT&T contract for a number of years. I would like to buy a pre paid SIM card for it from a company like Cellular Abroad.

Any clue on how I can tell if the phone is unlocked so it will accept a non AT&T SIM card?

Thanks

SX66 being replcaed by HP 6515 IPAQ

I currently have an SX66.. its is going to have to be replaced due to warranty issues, but it is currently on back order. The cingular rep. advised me that i might get a HP IPAQ 6515. Is this phone comparable to the Siemens?

No ring if ID withheld

I'm a new user of the Siemens A65.
I get calls where the phone does not ring, but blinks only. The display shows "ID Witheld".
Is the "ID Withheld" the reason for my my phone not to ring?

How can I fix this? It really is very tough to watch the phone for certain calls. Just thought to post here after not getting a satisfactory answer. Any help is needed on this.

Distraught user.

Can anyone help?! Problem with new Siemens SL 65

I recently bought a brand new SL 65 GSM phone for use with T-Mobile. After charging it, putting in the Sim card etc... the phone stalls out displaying "please wait" on the screen. This will stay locked until the battery is taken out-I can't even turn the phone off other than removing the battery! I am likely going to return it, just wondering if anyone else has experienced and whether I should try another SL 65 or switch to another phone. Please help!!

The review of this phone on the Phonescoop page, shows that it comes with the BlackBerry email protocol. I have purchased the phone and have seen so signs of this functionality.

What's up with this?

I hope someone buys them out. Seimens makes some pretty good phones, though not always the most aesthetically pleasing.
