I am in the Nj area radioshack and was discussing with the sales person about changing from VZW to Sprint because most of my friends have Sprint and VZW is slow to come out with a new phone selection. He told me that VZW is suppose to release the V710 later this month. I know we have heard this before, but he seemed pretty confident. He just didint have an exact date. I am ready to wait for it too. I know this doesnt help much but anything is better than nothing.

HELP!! I love my new Motorola V600 and have had it about 2-3 weeks. BUT... 👿 ...I just flipped it open to answer a call and the shiney silver trim that is on the left side that goes in between changeable metal cover and the black "glass" has a CHIP (right next to the camera lense) and now that I look at it closely the other side is showing signs that is it going to crack/chip also in the same spot on the right side now....I think I remember hearing something about this but I didn't have the time to search for info???

Motorola really screwed me when i sent back my v400 that i won last Christmas. They sent the phone back not repaired, missing the rubber inserts to cover the rear screws, and scratched the housing taking the phone apart. stay away from motorola products and the company, they SUCK! i refuse to sell them to customers now, i'll put them in a nokia that will work twice as long and have far less problems.

Who the hell wants this brick on their belt. What happened to small compact phones?

Anyone know who will be the carrier for this phone? Price? When available? It looks like a cool phone.

It's in Korean and they have a flash presentation of a Color StarTac with BlueTooth. Anyone have anymore info on this?

When will the Motorola v600 be released on the GSM network for AT&T? (DATES)

Got the V400 not too long ago. It came with the #1 key programmed to dial the voicemail. Is there a way to edit the number it dials to add a pause and link my voicemail password to it so I don't have to punch in my password everytime I check voicemail?

I have not received an e-mail from Motorola/Young America yet, but I was doing some searching around and found a website for AT&T's rebate status lookup with Young America (company that handles most of the rebates/promotions). I played around with the URL, and low and behold I found Motorola's lookup site. I am interested in finding out what comes up for others (both people who have received the e-mail and those who have not).

I heard that Motorola was coming out with new Verizon phones in May - anyone know anything about this? I need a new Verizon phone but would definitely wait (if it's not too long...) for a Motorola. Any inside knowledge would be appreciated :-)

Does anyone know the correct resolution that uploaded photos have to be in order to properly be displayed as wallpaper on the v600? I tried setting a 640x480 image as wallpaper and it was stretched.

Do any phones have a calculator? I heard a few of them are starting to include calculators! That would be a life saver.

Guys, i resell phone to my friends in college, i am looking for the new Motorola V600. Any suggestion would be very helpful. So far i found $425 for unlocked, unbranded V600 and many of us already got it from here, www.myworldphone.com, any other places?

Is the battery in this phone Lithium Ion, or Lithium Polymer?

I cannot figure out how to add a word to the iTAP dictionary. If I change the entry to tap and enter the word, the phone does not remember it. What am I doing wrong? Also is there a way to set the default symbol to . instead of ' ? When I am finishing a sentence and want to put a . I have to press 1, then the right arrow > to select the word with the . after in. FOr example, I say : End of the road, and then press 1 for a symbol, I get :End of the road' , its rather cumbersome to always press the > to get the right word with the . after it.


Any help is appreciated.
