I am getting ready to switch to Verizon and heard that the 6015i entry level phone is getting ready to be replaced in the next few months. Does anyone know what model will be replacing the 6015i and where I can find info on it?

If it's not as good as the 6015i then I want to act now, if it's better then I can wait.

I am looking for a NEW nokia phone(s) for use on the cingular svc. Nokia 7270,6170, and 6260. Do you know if these are going to be released for the US market? If so when and will PTT work? I have been a long time CellularOne/ATT/Cingular, (etc...LOL) customer (10+ years)I have been MOSTLY happy with the majority of service, but also SOME bad...but OH well that's happens with a BIG company. I have been a LOYAL Nokia fan and have purchased higher/mid range phones only. This request is ONLY for help on purchasing/info on a NEW phone, and nothing more. Hopefully someone can steer me to a new phone(s)that are GREAT. I am a newbie to this form and hope ALL the haters out they don't try and slam me!!!Thanx for your help in advance.

Is it a standard of all Nokia phones to show the current profile in use on the LCD? If so, is there anyway to have the profile not show?

For those who use headsets (wireless or corded, I don't have a preference)...

I am in this phone now. Just wanted to share that I think that this is the best phone that nokia has come out with in a while. So far, all the phones functions are great. I have no complaints, and I usually do. Great buy!

I've been trying to get the Nokia 6682. I found a place online cellularchoices.com that has it for free after 6-month rebate. But they have no idea when it's going to be in stock.

It came on the Cingular Store in mid-September, but they pulled it after a week.

I talked with a couple of Cingular salesmen and they said that the supply is out because of some manufacturing problems at Nokia....

Anyone know about what's going on with this phone????

Personally my very favorite Nokia phone of all times is the 6200. It is small, easy to use, has a nice little screen and the nokia ringtones are cute and fun. Plus I like the menu screen and the sunflower wallpaper on it.

Ok i got a stupid request, ill admit it, lol. i have a nokia 3100 and there is a G in the top right corner of the screewn right abovethe siganl bar, i messed with some settings( stupid me) now im trying to figure out how i get that little G back in the corner. any help please?

I have Nokia 3589i with Verizon. I am trying to set custom ringtone to an individual number/caller group from the open gallery folder. This open gallery folder has tones downloaded using Get Now application.

I am not able to find any option to set a ringtone for individual/group from the open gallery.

Is it by design or is there any workaround to do this?

I need some of the files found on 6682 phones. I have a 6680 and would like to reenable some of the capabilities that Nokia purposedly cut-off some of the latest phones.

If some kind soul is willing to invest 10 minutes of his time to feed me these files (about 10) I will greatly appreciate that.

Baiscally we are after a solution that will give our phones full TCP/IP stack and PPP protocol. This way we can use our Home ADSL to browse the Internet with the phone trough Bluetooth.

Dear Nokia users,

After using Nokia for almost two years I decided to get a Motorola V300. I had that phone for about 6 months and I loved it, but I am going back to using the Nokia 6200 for many reasons: The 6200 gets better signal, the ringtones are louder and they vibrate at the same time, built in radio is fun, small durable phone (I worried that my flip phone would break), I love the Nokia Chill ringtone, plus I can hear better with the 6200 and the speaker phone is better. My only complaint is that the 6200 has only 500 KB of memory. But I can live with that. I bought a 6200 off of ebay and I can't wait to use it!!

Now what is your favorite model of all times and why?

Does anyone know a current status on Verizon Nokia Phones? It seems that verizon dumped Nokia after 6015I which I always had great luck and reception with. I've always been a huge fan of Nokia and would hate to switch to cingular just for a phone that works decently. I currently have an LG6100 which is the worst phone I've ever. Horrible reception and tons of dropped calls, regardless of firmware updates and *228 which never seems to do much.

I just upgraded to a 6230i today. So far it seems like a good phone. The only problem I have is with the ring tones.
I live in a bad signal area and have to leave the phone in certain parts of the house to get calls. sometimes I'm not near the phone and need a loud tone so it gets my attention.

What I am looking for is a loud basic ringing tone similar to continental. Any ideas where I could get my hands on something like this?

anybody aware of a genuine website which will offer unlock codes for nokia 6620 . as i am tied up with rogers wireless (canada) and whenever i travel abroad i get these huge roaming charges and i don't want to switch phones i love this phone. It is the best phone i have used so far ,of course there are better nokia phones which cost more. Please HELP??
