a voice scheduler. Any suggestions?

I have a CG 300 with almost 200 contacts, many with multiple numbers. I bought a USB cable with software that is touted to allow me to transfer the contacts to my PC for editing and for backup. I do not want to use the phone/PC to connect to the INTERNET via the phone.

I ran the setup.exe, but I can't find any listing of new software in the Program files (WXP PRO), no desktop Icons, etc. The only reference is in the Control Panel Add/Remove software and is listed as LG USB Modem Driver. When I connect the phone to the PC I get a message window saying there is an unknown USB device connected. I didn't find anything on this in the phone book either. And yes, like most stuff these days the cable and software are made in China.

Anyone think it is too "fem" for a guy to own?

Just got the 8600 (verizon) and can't sync my contact list in my '05 bmw x5. I can pair the phone and car but the phonebook will not load into the car. I took the car to bmw and there is nothing wrong with the bluetooth. LG nor Verizon have any idea on how to make this work. My old Razor worked fine. Any help would be grateful.

I have always heard that LG doesnt make that strong of phones. Not bad when it comes to service or the phones features, but that the hardware of the phone itsself is crappy...

I am a Alltel/Nextel/CellularONE dealer. Though nextel doesnt us LG, the other two do, and I want to be providing my customers with the best phones. Any suggestions?

does anyone know where i can download a manual for the LG G4020?

We want to be able to listen to our phones MP3 player with our own headphones and connect to the car radio FM adapter but.... we need a 2.5 MM 3 ring male to a 3.5 female adapter phone(plug) jack. Does anyone know of such a plug jack and where to get it. R Shack electonics store does not carry this product but is aware of it. Thanx!

I've seen a few questions regarding older LG phones synchronizing with Lotus Notes Calendar and Lotus Notes Address book, but not many answers.

Does any one know if there is software available for this purpose? I do not need to synchronize e-mail, just my contacts and calendar from Lotus Notes.

For what it's worth, I'm most interested in buying a LG Vx8600 or enV through Verizon.

1. I was told the LG CU500 phone was a $300 phone. The Cingular store offered it to me at $159. I held off and kept coming back for a month until I got a "deal" of 2 phones for $100 plus tax. Imagine my surprise, when Best Buy offered the same phone for $49.99 and it came with accessories. I didn't get a DEAL from Cingular.

2. I received no accessories from Cingular.

3. I went to 4 Cingular stores. None have the USB cable, and you have to get the data card from a store like Target. This is to be able to interact with the computer to transfer pictures, games, and ring tones. Total price: around $60 plus tax.

4. No games came with the LG CU500 phone. NONE! I could not believe it! A "$300" phone with no games? The card ...

WHAT is the status here??
I've read posts on this fron a year ago -

I've been experiencing this since I picke dup my 8600 a few days ago - I've tried sending from different hosts, both web based and pop3 - from netzero, yahoo, gmail, comcast, etc.
Of the last 25 I sent, 4 got through.

I've sent mp3's and qcp's files as small as 7k and as large a 215k.

I played with the Subject, content, removed signatures and even argued with a vzwpix tech for an hour over this (I never mentioned ringtones)- I even forwarded the tech my "550 SMTP connection refused" bounce back.

I played with conversions (bitpim included) with diiferent birates, etc.
And yes, I've changed the extentions as well

Is there any way to permanently move down or mute the volume on flix video that is taken?

Everytime a flix video starts the volume starts at the midway point, and on video I have taken the static is very very loud. I would like to always have the flix video volume be muted like the music is everytime the videos start. Can't seem to figure out how to do it...

Searching for hours. Called Verizon tech support; he was pretty sure the VX8300 does not support BT stereo. Clearly it does. But not for me! Pairing looks proper. Phone works fine with the headset. But My Music comes out the speakers, not the headset. Pushed every button, looked to every menu. This just has to be a simple menu item I just can't seem to find.

Appreciate step by step how-to.

Whenever I set an alarm in the scheduler, it defaults to "Moonlight." This requires manually changing the ring with each alarm set. How can I change this default?

Any mention if this phone is headed for the US? I want to get an 8600, but I'd wait for the upgraded camera.
