Turning off cameras

Can both cameras be turned off / disabled? Does this require a MDM or can it be locked on the handset?

How to add a basic calendar event?

I just got the Kyocera Xtrm and haven't had a chance to read the manuel yet! I am looking to add a basic calendar event. I am not trying to sync an outlook or google calendar. I just want to add reminders for myself on the phone! Is this possible without having to add a calendar? When I try to add an account, my options are Corporate or google. I do not have a gmail account and the corporate option asks me to set up an Exchange.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

double email both in email which came on phone and gmail

: I have a Kyocera rise and I can't remember if I installed the Gmail app or if it came standard on the
Phone or not. I feel like deleting one app would keep my emails from coming in twice but Don't want to erase one because it warns you that deleting or removing a standard installed app may mess up or cause problems with phone want to know if Gmail came on phone like email or if I can delete it

Download Contact List?

I have a Kyrocera S2100. Would like to know if there is a cable and/or software to allow downloading the phone's contact list data to a desktop computer? Intent is for restoring the list should it be lost from the phone.
Thanks.

I have never seen a brand as bad as this

Kyocera should just stick to making knives. That seems that is all there good with. I'll admit that there phones "Look Nice: but are far outdated. There tech is the worst I've ever seen. There still making phones with VGA cameras. The over all quality is non-existent. You see many other manufactures trying to build newer better phones. I don't really see the the mobile portion of this company lasting too much longer. I don't mean to be mean but I have seen too many problems with this company.

Return of the Kyocera Smartphone! But not in North Am

FYI. For the past few years, about every six months, I contact Kyocera asking if they will ever come out with a new smart phone. They always say they have no plans to do so. Well, about two weeks ago I sent an email to Kyocera asking them if they would ever come out with a follow up to the 7135 (I am a previous 7135 user), and the response I got back was that in fact, they do plan to come out with another smart phone, but it will not be available in North America. Hopefully, if their return to the smart phone market is more successful this time, they will make it available in NA. Keep hope alive!

Do Kyocera Phones work with Cradlepoint Routers?

Does anyone know if Kyocera phones work with Cradlepoint routers?

I'm getting ready to renew my ATT phone plan (comes with new phone and full data plan) and want to use my phone as a hotspot with one of the Cradlepoint routers.

Anyone ever use their phone with a wireless router to surf the web on your laptop? This is what I'm trying to accomplish.

Here's the Cradlepoint router website: www.shopcradlepoint.com

Thanks in advance for any help or knowledge.

Is the Lingo really as hot as they say it is?

Its beautifully designed, but they should have spent more time on it.
They made it to look like the env, even made it have some things the env needed improvement on, like;
They made the outside screen larger
created a more bautifull outside apperance..
but what they didnt think about..
is the external numeric pad, they crammed it and made it so small and the buttons are so weak, made for easy mistakes.
They made the speaker phone more crisp and clear then the env's, but did they do good enough for the battery life? i believe not. internal antennas are hot external are not, but in this case they seriously should have put an external antenna on it because its signals weak no matter where you are. The outside even wears and tears faster t...

Anyone know if/when Verizon will again offer Kyocera phones for regular service, not PTT? My terrible two years with a POC Motorola will be ending in April and I'd like to go back to Kyocera. Thanks!
