any word on if samsung will be coming out with phones for alltel

I have recently been told that around July Verizon will offer a new PDA/cel-phone combo from Samsung, called the x5 or something similar.

The problem is I can not find more information about the samsung x5, so i believe i heard the model # incorrectly.

does anyone have information about newer PDA/phones coming out this summer?

My phone has lost it's main menu. I went through all the ways to view the menu, but it has gone. I have tried a different SIM in the handset, but just got Help / Services / Cost but not Settings / Messages / Organiser etc.

Any ideas?

I have a Samsung SGH X426.
I need to enter an web address that has a "tilde" in it. (the little squiggly line thing" and I don't see it on my phone. Is there a way to add it or some other symbol that I can use?

You know how when you enter in new a new contact in your phonebook, you can choose what kind of input selection you use on the keypad? I typically use "ABC", but the default is "T9 Word", so I have to change the input type each time I get to the screen to type in the name of the person. Is there any way to set "ABC" as default on the phone??

I love the Motorola v600 and all it's features. But................ i was wondering if Samsung has a phone with all the features of the v600 and what model if any. Like blue tooth, speaker phone, picture id and camera, video etc. thanks

Why are the Samsung phones Cingular that is carrying with out the "basic" features most of us have become accustomed to: ie. Voice Activated Dialing? This, in my opinion, is just plain crappy. I have a X-427 and N-400 (sprint) so I like Samsung. But, I want all the bells and whistles all the other big boys have.

Any word on when Samsung is going to deliver a bluetooth enabled phone---for Sprint???

I'm using BeyondContacts (from Dataviz) with my Samsung i500 (Sprint PCS) in order to connect with MS Outlook. PocketMirror (from Chapura), the standard app for this purposes, has limited functionality. In the past I used KeySuite (also from Chapura) but it's not compatible with the i500.

Unfortunately, BeyondContacts disables the autodial. Is there a way to get it back?

I currently have the AudioVox 8900 and it is a GREAT phone but it does not have the feture to vibrate and then ring and it does not have an feture to vibrate when I get a text message. Although I like everything else about the phone that is a feture I must have and I was hoping someone that has the A530s could help me out on. Thanks,

I'm trying to decide whether to get a Samsung SPH-i500 or wait for the SGH-i505.

Poking around on the Web, I haven't been able to find any clear-cut info on dimensions for the forthcoming i505. Closest was this:
"It is estimated to be about 2"x4" when closed."
A little vague, but the only numbers I saw anywhere-- from

The SPH-i500 is only 3.4" tall, and if the i505 is really 4 inches or more, that would probably much decide the issue for me. It'd be nice to have the higher-rez screen of the i505, and the i505's twist-&-flip display would be very useful for the PDA functions-- but the key thing I'm looking for is a single device that's closer to the ...

Has anyone else had excessive background noise with the x426? I love this phone but this problem is too much to bear.

I am either going to exchange it for a new one (in hopes that I just got a bad apple) or get something entirely different. Any suggestions?
