just flash to a rooted version of the new gingerbread update instead of losing your root and having to sbf flash it back to a rootable version just to root it, and do it all over again?

because its an R2D2. Cant get the official version complete with all the StarWars crap without the stock R2 SBF.
I honestly didn't need root on my R2 anyway. I just got really drunk and made a poor decision.
I'll be rooting my T-bolt instead.
