What do you think will happen
when carriers/manufacturers begin developing apps that can only run on their Android phones?
This situation may have been discussed here previously, been given the state of Android and its increasing fragmentation, I would like to hear some thoughts on this issue. The reason I've been thinking about this stems from my own company (Sprint's) decision to install Sprint ID on a few of their smartphones. It seems like the next logical step is for some companies to create apps that only work on a select number of their devices. Is this the future of our beloved platform?
