Live Wallpapers on MyTouch Slide?
I would check the XDA developer forum. I have a HTC Hero that doesn't have Live Wallpaper support. I rooted the phone and installed a custom ROM (Buufed) and now I have LWP. There may be a similar ROM available for your phone...

Then unfortunately it isn't going to be an option if it wasn't included in your software update. I know of no other method that would work if not rooted..

why would it void your insurance? maybe ur warranty... but not ur insurance.

If I try to mod it and I brick it by accident, the insurance will not cover that. Granted all I would have to do is destroy it and file damaged but I'd rather keep my warranty incase of malfunction.
