Notifications are more easily accessed, as well as updates to existing programs via a pull down menu on the top.
OS updates and upgrades are available over-the-air and do not require being plugged in and synced.
It does flow faster (swipes, loads, etc), has a faster upgrade cycle (currently, I can't speak for Win7) but its early so 1.5 to 1.6 to 2.0,2.1,2.2 is happening very fast per Google getting up to speed (I don't remember BB, Win, Apple, Palm, HP smartphones having this many iterations this fast when they were just starting)
E-mails will let you access and file your emails, presently no other smartphone will let you do this. This means I don't just have unread emails sitting in my inbox to file when I can get to a computer, I can do it right now and save time later. They used to say access to emails (Blackberry specifically) saved you an hour when you got home to spend more time with your family.
Streamlines social network, email, and text into one conversation with someone.
Personalization/improvement (apps fall in this category) if you don't like something on the phone it probably has an option to change it. If it doesn't have it built in, you can probably get it on the app market (usually free), such as: slideit keyboard makes on screen keyboard work faster or Bubble which gives you a level... you get some but not as much on BB, win, or HP/Palm.
Windows advatange is a Microsoft convienience for networking, the advanced IT expert could tell you more. I'm at a bit of a loss on this one, rarly but truthfully, its out of my league and most ppl as well.
