The 3G issue is bogus in my book. The only people having issues with 3G on a Nexus One are on the fringe of the 3G coverage zone. I have not had any issues with my 3G on my Nexus One at all. As well, they released an update the first week of February that fixed the issue with the phone not switching back to 3G when you got back into 3G coverage area(this is the only real issue it ever had, and once again was related to the fringe of the 3G coverage).

I have both a G1 and a Nexus One, side by side my Nexus One actually gets better signal than my G1. Here is a thread from xda-developers where someone started it to show the issue is "real"... as the thread progresses several xda members, myself included, did as scientific as you can testing of the radio strength, and found that it is a bogus claim.
