Hardware change

Ok so here is a question for the hacker programmer type. I am really liking the Android platform so far, but like most of the phones I have owned over the years I am not super thrilled with the hardware. Is it possible to take say a HTC TP2 and drop the android OS on it?

Actually, yes you can... it is not going to be 100% perfect, but you can boot Android on a WinMo device, specifically the TP2. You can't "flash" the phone so that it is it's primary OS, but you can boot and run Android on it.

If you want to use the Android OS, though, get an Android phone, it will run much better than booting it on a WinMo device.

Yeah, I'm hoping HTC puts out an Android smartphone with the same keyboard as the TP2! That would be so awesome!

Hopefully we'll know something along those lines when Mobile World Congress starts in 2wks.
