I can get into the bootloader screen but thats it.

can i use the same verison i used on the d1? What im reading its looking like i need an updated version.
Im aty work right now so i cant look too deep into it.

No clue. Thats what im reading, but I really have no clue. I miss my D1 already. 🙄

Well if it powers on it can usually be saved. You will probably need to put an older stock version of android onto your microsd card and from the bootloader load the recovery from there.

Is there a 1 click program that will allow you to restore or install an os on it via usb? I go an OS on my phone once using unrev0ked software.

I think the phone has to be working to do that, i dont think it will fix a brick.

ok u need rsd lite and a version file i forget name i have it at home tho i bricked my x and restored using this u need an sbf file to run it once your phone is plugged in it can take like 10 mins but then presto your good google sbf for droid x thats how i found the file if i can find the file in my latop ill return and post the version number

when you rooted your d2, did you do it through an spf? will that work to unroot?

rooted d2 with z4 as well. sbf is the way to get back to stock.
