WinAmp Beta

OrionsVantage

Dec 10, 2010, 11:10 AM
I'm not sure when it was released, but i just picked up the beta version of WinAmp on my R2-D2 droid yesterday. It is much more user friendly than the stock music player. Some neat things that it does (other than a better user interface) is it Strobs with last.fm, a widget that shows album art, will wirelessly sync to your winamp on your computer, a SHOUTcast search feature. It also says that it will sync with iTunes, but i have no way of verifying that since i don't use iTunes.

Definately a step in the right direction for media players on the Android systems though. I've been quite impressed. I'd like to see an EQ though

i agree, i've been using it for the last 2 weeks or so and i like it a lot, certainly a lot better than the stock player, which hasn't changed in any significant way since the g1 was released.
