i-mate JAM or Qtek 9100: Which to buy?
Hi folks,
I have the opportunity to purchase one of 2 used devices. One is the i-mate JAM 850, the other a Qtek 9100(K-Jam). The Qtek has the keyboard, integrated wifi, better bluetooth, 128 MB Rom and Windows Mobile 5, but a slower 200 mhz processor. The i-mate JAM on the other hand has the 416MHz processor, and will have a wifi+256 mb card, and a Copilot Live GPS system included. I like the idea of the keyboard on the Qtek 9100, not sure how much easier it would be with it as I have not used one. The things I am most concerned about is issues people have had with playing videos, using Skype and slowness with the system on the Qtek. I like the fact that the JAM has the faster processor, is a bit thinner and includes the GPS but I am concerned about the lack of upgradibility from Windows Mobile 3. I probably will be using T-mobile as my carrier. Which device would you pick and for what reasons based on these issues.
