PDA comparison..please help!
I'm a new member of this group. I wanted to introduce myself and
also let all of you know the reason I enjoyed this group. Last year my company was in the market for PDA for the organization. We shopped
around and finally decided on the blackberries for the push email
technology. We have been extremely happy with our decision except
for a few users.But we are in the market to upgrade our current devices.
They're demanding the new devices have the following features:
Phone
Push Email
Document management (Microsoft Office)
Calendar management
Task Management
100% Wireless Synchronize
Great Battery life
Voice Recording
Web enables
Although I know it's almost impossible to have all these features
on one ...

Hi! I own and use the Treo 600 (Palm OS) and Hitachi G1000 (Pocket PC 2002) on Sprint PCS network. If you and your colleagues have been happy with the Blackberry (a device I hear good things about but have never used) then I recommend you stay with it! Maybe I should switch!

I been looking at the treo 650 and the i700. One former is Palm the later MS CE. Right now the i700 is only available through Horizon, SPRINT does not offer it.

I use the i700 and i love this device. It is a little pricy and doesn't have the push email but it does have the pocket outlook which i believe you can use an exchange server on (although i've never tried it). Even if you don't it will still do pop email very easly. It comes with a basic pocket office with word and excel and you can get access for it. If you are going to be doing a lot of webbrowsing then definatly upgrade it to the MS mobile 2003 which is a free upgrade on Verizon's website (i don't know if they are manufacturing it with the 2003 yet or not). Extreamly easy to customise the device to each personal preference. The only downside is no Blue tooth which i'm a little disapointed in and it's price.
