Verizon Windows Based Phones

I ready to move back to Verizon from Cingular, because of poor phone reception, and I need to purchase a windows based phone for email.

Does anyone know if any new models are due out in the near term? I keep reading about the VX6800, but, I wonder if this phone will ever make it to the market because of the delay after delay.
