All I have to say is I'm there are more choices when it comes to mobile OS's than there are on the desktop. And there are applications being made for each platform with RIM announcing they're own app store and Android Marketplace to support they're perspective OS's.

As a mobile OS WinMo is the most powerful there is, that being said, there interface can be clutsy and confusing.
It would help if they would expedite the development of WinMo 7 and it should support features like multi-touch.
Will WinMo become irrelevant? Thats highly unlikely, its a very powerful and mature platform, the only thing that even comes close to it is Symbian S60.

You mentioned multi-touch. Doesn't Apple have a copyright on multi-touch? I know the Microsoft Surface has multi-touch.

I'm not sure if thats a copyright by Apple or not, could be, but thats not going to stop others from using "similar" technology.
There is probably a half dozen different ways to skin that cat. 🤣
