Was wondering what people thought about this phone .... I know at least one friend that has one and was curious to hear other opinions good or bad about this product.

Hi,

I've had my Kyocera 7135 for 3 years now, actually I'm on my second one.
It's been great, and I have an attachment for taking pictures, but it talks a while to set up, the pictures are get though. The clam shell design is quite sturdy and it has both digital and analog, so you don't loose calls in areas that are a problem for digital only phones. If they came out with a keyboard and camera, I'd stay with Kyocera, but Treo will probably be my next smartphone. Still like the clamshell design through, it works great.

Our biggest complaint is that it is discontinued, and there don't seem to be any plans to replace it with anything new in the future. Husband and other people around that have bought the phone would like to upgrade, but they all hate (and maybe I should shout it HATE!) Blackberry. They just want a palm pilot...
