Palm OS

Hi-I'm a current Verizon customer and have been for several years. Prior to Verizon, I'd tried Sprint, ATT, and Cingular. I've stuck with Verizon because I found it to have the most reliable network, both at home in Los Angeles and when I'm (frequently) on the road, often to remote places. I also frequently make use of VW's high speed data service, using my Motorola 720 as a modern.

I'm quite pleased with VZW , and was often disappointed with the coverage and call quality of the GSM services I tried. However, that was a few years ago, and now, though my basic service needs are the same, I lust(!!!) after a Treo.

My question: have the rival services matched VZW on service, quality, and coverage? If I went with one of the alternate carriers, what would my experience be? How about sprint vs. the GSM services? If I went with GSM, which carrier might best suit my needs?
