Re: Are there any worthwhile palm/verizon phones?
...i was thinking of the kyocera 7135 (verizon)...it has decent reviews on CNET, and there are some moderate reviews here, but when i went to the store and asked about it, they said that they didn't recommend it...(and they didn't even have it on display)...
...for many of the same problems mentioned on this site...i'm not sure how many of these are strictly palm issues...i'm in IT, and troubleshoot palms all the time, so that's not much of an issue for me...but if verizon doesn't support it well, then i'm not really interested anyway...
...if you want analog, that just leave the samsung sph-i500 from Sprint...but it doesn't have expansion and other familiar palm features...plus it has the older 4.2 palm OS...
...so now i'm looking at the treo 600 thru sprint (CDMA)...but i can't get a decent answer on whether or not i can roam on the Verizon ("all-Digital") network (store didn't know)...but i may just have to get the details on the return policy and drive all over the place to figure out if i can roam on Verizon's network in CDMA...
...so, if i get any new info, i'll let you know...
