I HATE AT&T cause of the TREO
Second..I am an OLD AT & T customer (business account). I really, really want the TREO but AT & T (& the dudes @ the Cingular store) told me I cannot migrate to Cingular (even though I write my cks to them every month) till Sept 06' cause of some new , dumb rule. Sure I can cancel & pay the $175 but I cannot take my # with me that way & I need my #.
The TReo doesnt work on AT & T so if I complusivly buy it now to play...I cannot use it till Sept 06. This sux!
But...& I dont know if I wanna play this game..one guy told me to goto Sprint for 1 day as a new customer..take my # w/ me than the next day cancel sprint (no charge to cancel that soon) & go straight to Cingular w/ my number & NOW the TReo.

Why not go to Sprint. Have you had Sprint before? or all you say is just wjat you heard. I have Sprint and am a very happy customer. Customer Service did have a low point but they have been working on that and it now is great.(from what I'm reading AT&T customer service is pretty crappy if they can accomodate the issue) Secondly w/ the network.. You are aware that Sprint just bought out Nextel right? Well there is 14000 towers that will be added to Sprint. Sprint is in the process for releasing EVDO.. High speed internet..(though the Treo650 will not be able to take advantage of) Since you are interested in the TREO did you know that Sprint gets the very 1st firmware upgrades from Palm.. And most likely Sprint will be gettin...

I am an AT&T customer too. A while back Cingular told me that I could migrate to Cingular (without penalty, which is what migrating means, I guess). So now you are saying that this migrating feature has been disabled by Cingular? Shame on them. -Lorna
