WiKID Systems two factor authentication system for remote access & password resets

by nowen    Feb 18, 2004, 3:01 PM

WiKID Systems has developed a unique two-factor (something you know, something you have a la an ATM card) system for network access. We combine strong, fast asymmetric encryption and Internet-enabled devices to securely deliver the one-time passcode to the device upon receipt of a validly encrypted PIN on an active account.

The WiKID Authentication system is less expensive, easier to implement and maintain and far more extensible than existing, hardware-based solutions (tokens, smartcards, etc), yet all the analysts we have presented to agree that it is as secure. We have already extended the system to handle LAN password resets, eliminating costly and frequent helpdesk calls.

If you are interested in testing the system, we are currently providing WiKID servers on a pilot basis to qualified prospects and will provide demo software as well. Please contact WiKID at http://www.wikidsystems.com/contact.html .

Thanks!
