Treo and Volvo

I had a treo 650, which I enjoyed for the most part, a few freezes here and there but nothing bad.

I got a new Volvo, and their bluetooth handsfree system. Well ever since i connected my treo to that thing my phone went haywire. Freezes constantly, turns itself off and on. I turned it in, got a new one, same thing.

So I gave up, got a blackberry.

Well I hate it. It's too complicated to use, the "wheel of death" on the side is horrible not to mention something as simple as a text message requires 15 clicks to send.

So I need to switch phones again. My only options with my carrier are Blackberry, Treo Windows version, or a Moto Q. I refused the treo because i read volvo and treo have problems being compatible. But does anyone know...

same bluetooth profiles on the windows version as the palm version. you'll have the same issues. i would recommend the 6700, or the mogul(6800) if your on sprint. stay away from the Q and the blackjack IMHO. go with something HTC, you'll have better luck.

i would definately not suggest the 6700. that phone had more issues than could be discussed. as for the 6800, i would wait a month or so after it comes out to make sure it's worth while. so far it seems that it can hold it's own but you never know until users have had enough time to really give it a beating. patience

the Mogul has been around and being used by a large number of people for about 6 months now. sure that 'large' number is relativly small compared to how many users there are going to be come the 12th, but so far it's proven to be strong. i have had the opportunity to play with one that our rep has been using as her sole device for the last 5 months, and it's still amazing. all the problems the 6700 had(that i noticed) the Mogul answers.

BUT!

patience is always a good idea in this case. good advice.
