Treo Crash problem
Hey guys,
I need some help and hoping you can help me.
I have a Treo 600 that started rebooting about 8 hours ago. Pressing the reset button on the back does nothing, it just keeps going to the logo screen, then off, then logo screen, then off, and so on.
I haven't synced my phone in months so I am hoping you all can help me find a way to break it out of this cycle.
It started while I was online using the AOL IM app (which has been known to crash before).
Help save my phone and my data!
Thanks in advance.

Dude, that's tough. Just had AOL IM crash last couple of Treos Only way to cure is to perform hard reset. (hold down reset then hold down the top power button at the same time. 2-4 sec later release and you'll see do you want to erase. if attempt no to erase all data and power cycle looping begins again, then you'll have to reset with all data erase. Then go to puter's program file look up palmone or handspring folder. Find user, then go to backup and erase AIM. only way out. Sorry ☹️

I feel your pain. The same thing has happened to my 650 and I have not gotten much help on the issue from Sprint. I was told that I could have received a corrupt file, but I have not found it yet. I have done a hard reset to my phone, updated the software, and have had is flashed. Nothing works. You can try talking to Treo tech support, they are pretty knowledgeable.

Treo tech support will tell you to do a hard reset, uninstall all software and reinstall all software, change user names and so on. They will run you in circles. I had 8 replacements sent to me between Cingular and Palm One. Be ready for headaches. I finally got a refund after I lost business and info. on mine. Good Luck to you.
