Whats up everyone,

jus curious what everyone thinks about the 650 or the 6700 I work for Telus in Canada and I am trying to choose which one to pick. I am leaning towards the 6700 due to the WiFi and EVDO when it comes to my province. One thing I am wanting is t turn my mp3s into ringtones with my mini SD. If anyone could tell me if they both have this feature or if I have to download the apps to enable this please let me know. Id apperciate any help.

I have the 6700 and it natively supports mp3 ringtones. I have nothing but good things to say about this phone.

Both have the exact same OS so they both will do what you want. I chosse the 6700.

6700 the key pad is actually large enough i can use it. It has WI FI and evdo. Has a larger screen. If i press the talk button it takes me to the dialing pad treo 700 does nto do this.

Treo 650 advantage it takes SD 6700 only takes mini sd. it also runs Palm OS which is 100 times more stable. and the treo 650 is way easier to repair, I know becuase i repair phoens for a liveing.

Treo 650 is Palm OS and OLD SCHOOL. If you want new go Treo 700p.

6700 is a nice device. A little weak on 1 handed operation but the AKU2 upgrade adds in Voice Command to compensate. It also enables CDMA and WiFi to search for networks at the same time.

I personally like the 6700 and Mobile 5 Pocket PC. Built in Pocket MSN, Pocket Office, 1.3MP, EVDO.

Treo 650 is 1X, 0.3MP, Palm,

Treo 650 is the way to go and much easier, overall, to navigate than the Windows OS.

However.... the 650 is much buggier than the windows OS phones and have more limitiations than whndows-based phones. If it's windows based, you can't go wrong (and really consider the company you sign on too. Verizon (my company)has good receptions, but questionable customer service) I'm getting a 6700 tomorrow because after 3 Treo 650s, it's time for a change. The 6700 gives you lots of options and freeware.
