TMobile Dash ???

I recently purchased a pocket PC from Verizon and i'm still in the trial period and am hoping to make a decision this week about what to do. It works well for what I need but is not user friendly at all. I've discovered that whlie a stylus seems nice, it's not when I really want a workable phone as well.

I took a look at the Dash tonight and fell in love with the ease of use I experienced. I believed with a 1 GB microSD i'd be set. Iwas about to make the purchase but then it came to my attention that it was WM for smartphones and not WM Pocket PC. Really the only reason I wanted the WM pocket pc was to balance my checkbook in Excel and track my workouts in Excel. I'm new to the PDA world. Would I be able to download onto my device,...

Dash will not do what you need ☹️ . It is using Smartphone version of Windows Mobile. In this version you can see MS documents (via included third party software ClearVeiw) but not edit them . You need to use Pocket PC version of Windows Mobile to edit native Excel sheets
