Man have I always liked the nokia 3650 but have been reluctant to buy one because of its weired keypad lay out. Now that problem has been solved with the new 3660. It also sports a better picture with 65k colors. Do you guys think this phone is cool? Does anyone know when it launches in the US???? I want one bad.... 😎

I dont like it to much to be honest with you, I have the 3650 and I love it, and personally as weird and unappealing as I first found the keypad i send sms's so much faster. You get accustomed to the layout really fast. What I really dont like about this new 3660 is that the 6600 is about to be released and its beautiful, and a true upgrade to the 3650. I cant wait to get my hands on that one. Also the 3660 i think is only dual band, which is a downgrade in my eyes.

The 6600 is tri-band, 900/1800/1900 per PhoneScoop. 😎

There is a 3620 that ATT will be carrying, however that is a USA only phone. However, it will work on 850 Mhz, which means the RF on that device will be second to none.

my only beef with the 3650 is w/there bluetooth there no way to copy from the phone to the sim all at once, you have to do it one by one, i had a cust that switched phones because of a problem with the equipment, and had to take 200 nums one by one from phone to sim using two phones, i do like the new keypad layout thought

it gives the phone a whole new look, but i think there also making a triband version just depends on your carrier, all in all i think they could have made the phone smaller. check out the sendo x or the ericsson p900

😕 does anyone know when this phone will be coming out and how much it will cost. If it is a lot less than the 6600 than that would be enough reason to get it. Ill substitute attractiveness for affordability any day especially if the phones do damn near the same thing. Plus the 3660 doesn't look half bad any way.

Erm, with Bluetooth you should sync the PC with the old phone, then swap the SIM over and sync the new phone with the PC. Forget copying all those numbers over to the SIM, just use that for emergencies like a dead battery and you have to borrow a friend's phone and put your SIM into it.

Why can't you just use pc suite and transfer them all to the phone then use the copy all option?

Get the 3620 because it supports 850 mhz GSM, unless you really need to use the phone in Europe

Sorry to intrude off message but this is based on our need to contact users of 3650 / 3600 / 3660 / 3620 / 6600 in the USA

hello,
we're a uk software developer (www.callflash.com (beta site - no working links yet!); we've got a new app which allows voice messaging to mobiles and landlines and we want to test it in the usa; we plan to sell it on handango for around $30 but you can have it free if you review it for us using your phone (see list above)
it has been technically tested exhaustively in uk and we have reviewers in 10 eu countries but we need to know if the usa voicemail timing (time to talk) is long enough for our replay settings in the usa.
if you would like to join our test group and get the app sent to you just send us an ...
