I agree, in the 2yrs since the Ipone launched UI's have come a very, very long way. In perticular thought I really like the overlay Asus came up with for they're new line of smartphones, a UI of an actual office, rolodex for contacts, calender, even a picture on the wall for the photo gallery.
And don't forget about Moto's Blur UI over Android that will be on the upcoming Sholes for Verizon. We're yet to see what that's all about though.

But with reguards to not getting any new S60 phones from Nokia. I'm a long time owner of the N95, and recently I have been really wanting a handset with a slideout keyboard, so I've been eyeing the E75, it has feature pack 2, not too sure as to what all the differences are though with FP2 and what's running on the N95. I guess I'm just waiting to get a good amount of OT to get the money together to buy the E75.

When I read the article on Phone Scoop that said "S60 will cease to exist" my heart just fell to the ground. It is a very deep, rich, customizable OS.
