mute internal speaker when active bluetooth headset connected

by treblhooks    Dec 8, 2008, 4:14 PM

Ok folks, here's my dilemma. I have a Nokia N95-4 and I love the phone except for one little problem. When you connect a bluetooth headset the only way you can here individual ringtones in the headset is if the phone itself rings as well. When you work in an office enviroment that's just not a good option. I need for someone to tell me how to get the phone to ring to the headset without the phone itself ringing. Silent Profile does just that, shuts everything off. Turning sound down still doesn't quieten it down enough to not bother others. I need the internal speaker to be muted when the phone has a connection to a bluetooth headset. I think this will entail some kind of a hack because we've done it to a couple of phones running windows mobile but I simply don't understand the Symbian platform well enough to even give it a good ole college try. Any ideas ?
