6682 - Not very loud?

The handset speaker on my Nokia 6682 seems to be very quiet, even turned all the way up. I have to make all of my calls on speakerphone, and my hearing is just fine. Anybody else feel the same way about their phone? I'm wondering if I should possibly exchange it because I haven't read anything about this anywhere.

Input appreciated -- I love the phone besides this one (IMPORTANT) flaw.

I think its the loudest phone I've ever had. Let a guy who has a hearing problem use the phone one day outside, and as soon as he hung up, he said that was the first phone he had talked on in years that he could actually hear on without straining. Sounds like yours might be slightly defective.

6682 has audio gain that adjusts for loud(er) environments.

make sure to check your settings, however dont expect to hear the phone if you're in a stadium at a sports event or concert or something --- nokia's and motorola's have never had the loudest earpiece volume, its a typical thing of these two manufacturers, not necessarily a bad thing whatsoever. If the problem is super exaggerated though that would be a cause for concern...

i was trolling around and just saw this - you need to pull your cover off and make sure the three earpiece holes are actually all holes - many of the factory and most of the aftermarket ones only have one or maybe two of the holes drilled through - i used and tiny drill bit and completed mine when a friend told me about this oddity

Mine is loud. I know that because I'm at work and forgot to turn my ringer off.
