Who’s winning the mobile platform wars, Apple’s iOS or Google’s Android?

Depends on usage. My Touch, iPad carry tons of games and although I have some games on my Nexus 7, its main use is for news, weather, notes, checkbook, etc.
I use both platforms quite regularly but I believe Apple pulls ahead because of iTunes holding more inventory than Google Play at this time. Imo, its all about what you can put into your device. (other than just making a call, if comparing phones).

But seriously, if you look at market share Android has a HUGE market share in the realm of mobile devices, the problem is that Google isn't making any money from it. There are a multitude of Android powered smartphones out there ranging from prices at FREE to several hundred dollars, but Google is making about jack and crap from it.
On the other hand, where Apple is lacking in market share, they are CLEANING UP in profit. Everytime someone activates an iOS device, they make bank, not only on devices, but app purchases.
I don't think that anyone is going to "win" in the end, but one thing seems clear and that is that the fellows out in Palo Alto sporting the mock turtle necks are going to continue to rake in the cash l...
