There's a rumor the HTC Touch HD 2 will be running Android

I'm kinda curious if a 3.8 inch screen might be too big for a cellphone.

Bluetooth file exchange

I just got a google phone, and whenever I've gotten a new phone in the past, I transfer photos, songs and ring tones via bluetooth. I'm having trouble doing this w/ my google phone. Am I doing it wrong or does this phone not exchange info that way?

t-mobile my touch

well..? any thoughts?
i just recently got my g1 and can't tell you how much i love this phone. was an avid berry user, and a sidekick user years before that.

g1 trumps them all. doesn't trump the iphone completely, but definitely kicks the iphone in the knees.

so mytouch (g2) will not have a physical keyboard. i think i'll stay with g1.

App Test Group

Hi. I have formed an app test group by posting on several forums. The idea is that a large group of testers can review andriod apps before they are released commercially.

The developer would receive technical and market feedback. Everyone wins.

Anyone interested in participating can email me at griff.blog@gmail.com Include your email address and I will add you to the group.

Thanks for all the suggestions and emails so far.

Cheers,
Griff

New Google phone

I am wanting to buy the new version Android phone.

Have any of you checked out the unlocked one on Ebay (item # 270359019870) $200.

Looks like a low-end phone from China but I am not sure.

Is there anywhere else to purchase a G2?

Thanks!

Moto's Android phone

They say it's a larger ZN4 with a pullout keyboard rather than the onscreen one that's for Verizon. They say it's also coming out Q2 2009 which really means Q3 2009. I'm wondering if it'll have the same or similar functions of the pull down menus and android market. Since Windows Mobile is on different carriers the same apps will work on the different phones.

The other aspect is that the 2yr price of the phone will be $150.

Is this possible?

I don't know a whole lot about the workings of Android, but I'm investing in a Touch Pro soon, and want to know if it would be possible to run Android on it. If so, how?

lost photos on g1

Hello everybody!

I got a preordered g1 and have been loving it ever since. I had taken several dozen photos and had them on my sd card.
Recently when i went to take a photo it said sd card error. I took it out and put in back in and the camera worked again but all but 1 of my photos had disappeared. I tried viewing the contents of the sd card on my computer but they were not available there either. Strangely though my background picture is one of the losst photos but it still remains as a background!
What is the likely cause of these lost photos?
Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated

Customers NOT in 3G markets...

Can I still get the Android? Will it work on GPRS and EDGE networks? Is it still worth it?

I've been salivating over this phone for MONTHS but its only being retailed in 3G markets ☹️

But GD its a sweet looking phone...

This changes everything...

If the G1 is successful, the entire wireless industry could change forever.

When you remove the need for proprietary OS's by the providers, you could buy a phone like you would a TV and pay as you go for whatever service you like. No more contracts, no BS... It would force carriers to invest in better coverage, faster networks, and be more competetive with pricing and plans.

The dynamic of how cell phones are bought with a service contract could be old news... When a service provider pulls some BS, you could leave without consequence and use your phone on another network!

That is my dream... and I'm pretty sure thats what Martin Luther King Jr. was dreaming about too...
