datebook5

Just got a samsung i730 phone today and i had a treo 600 before. The thing is i need the datebook5 type of calendar software that i bought for the treo. The one from i730 is terrible for me. Its very limited as to what you can do. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for some other kind of calendar software
that would work with this phone. Any feedback
would be greatly appreciated..

Samsung i730 and FileMaker Mobile 7?

Is anyone running FileMaker Mobile 7 on the i730? One FileMaker tech support person I spoke with said that Mobile 7 will not work with the i730's Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, even though it supposedly does work with the first version. If there is an incompatibility, could it have to do with the fact that the i730 uses an Intel processor rather than an ARM processor? A second tech Support person said the i730's 520 MHz Intel Bulverde processor is probably ARM compatible, and therefore probably would work with Filemaker Mobile 7.

Thanks for any help / input / suggestions / etc.!

mobile internet explorer update

I'm running an Audiovox XV6600 PDA phone. Is mobile internet explorer 4.0 the latest browser version? If not, can you point me to the download?

I've been all over Microsoft's site but to no avail.

Thank you.

New HP Mobile Messenger!

I have recently come across several links stating that the new HP Mobile Messenger will soon be released (possibly toward the end of this month). However, after contacting HP, T-Mobile, and Cingular, no one will provide any information.

Does anyone have a solid idea on when these new Mobile Messengers will be released??

Here are some links in case you're not familiar with the upcoming models:

PPC Email Sync problem

Two-part question
1) What is the process to have my email (outlook) automatically
synced up wiht my Outlook client on my desktop? For example, if I read or delete an email on either my desktop or PocketPC then I
want it to automatically sync that info. If there is only a manual method then what is that as well.
2)Is there an equivalent product similar to the Blackberry RIM
server that can do this?

Thank you,

PDA comparison..please help!

I'm a new member of this group. I wanted to introduce myself and
also let all of you know the reason I enjoyed this group. Last year my company was in the market for PDA for the organization. We shopped
around and finally decided on the blackberries for the push email
technology. We have been extremely happy with our decision except
for a few users. But we are in the market to upgrade our current devices.
They're demanding the new devices have the following features:

Phone
Push Email
Document management (Microsoft Office)
Calendar management
Task Management
100% Wireless Synchronize
Great Battery life
Voice Recording
Web enables

Although I know it's almost impossible to have all these features
on one ...

Synching IPAQ 2215 with Phone??

Does anyone know if I can sync my contacts with this Motorola E815??

I have a IPAQ 2215 w/ Bluetooth and want to sync all or some of my contacts with my mobile phone.

I do not want a PDA phone because I use my phone for both business & play. Riding on an ATV through mud, forrest, dirt, etc- can be a pain with a BIG PDA in your fannie pack.
(haha)

Does anyone know of a phone that will sync with my IPAQ!!??

i-mate PDA2K and voice dialing via BT headset?

xcalibyur42 stated in their review on Dec. 6 "Voice dialing works with MS Voice Command. Voice dialing from BT Headset works also."
Does anyone know how to get this to work? I've got the 5 day demo of MS Voice but it doesn't appear to support BT headsets...

I really, really need a Call Filter.

I just made the migration from the Treo to the i700 (and hope to go to the PPC-6600 when it is released), and there is one app that I miss very much. You might even say I can't do without it.

It's called "Call Filter".

Basically, if anyone calls from a "blocked" or "private number", I can choose to send them to voicemail, or outright hand up on them.

I can assign similar rules to anyone simply NOT in my contact list.

As my cellphone is my home phone and work phone, this has proven to be invaluable, and has kept me from being disturbed by wrong numbers, wannabe-telemarketers, etc.

Is there anything even remotely similar that will work on the i700?
