portal email for blackjack

Pardon my ignorance. I have always kept a yahoo account as my main email address and I've even got it on my business cards. I just got a Blackjack and I want to know if anyone can tell me the best way to integrate it with my Cingular service so I finally use Outlook again. I've heard that Yahoo Go will convert them to text messages, but I'd like to hear a bit more before I go through with setting that up, especially if it is going to cost me. Thanks.

Samsung i730 vs. Motorola Q

Im debating between these two Verizon smartphones. I've read countless reviews and forums but still can not decide. Im leaning (a very small amount) towards the i730 just because of the wifi and infrared. Then again, the terrible battery life of the i730 makes me lean towards the Q. Please let me know what your feelings are between these two phones.
Thanks

A way to transfer "notes" to and from computer?

I switched from a cingular 8125 to a Samsung BlackJack recently. The 8125 could read and edit word docs. I don't need to read or edit word docs on the BlackJack but it would be very helpful to be able to sync or at least move the "notes" from notepad back and forth between the phone and my computer. Is there a way to do this?

I really appreciate any insight that you guys can give me!

Thanks,
Jay Everette

Treo 650 or 6700

Whats up everyone,

jus curious what everyone thinks about the 650 or the 6700 I work for Telus in Canada and I am trying to choose which one to pick. I am leaning towards the 6700 due to the WiFi and EVDO when it comes to my province. One thing I am wanting is t turn my mp3s into ringtones with my mini SD. If anyone could tell me if they both have this feature or if I have to download the apps to enable this please let me know. Id apperciate any help.

SDA or Q

I've had both phones and had definitive pros and cons about both.

SDA's Pros:
Excellent camera/video
Perfect phone size
It had all the Instant messengers built in

SDA's Cons:
Internet was slow as ----!
Battery life was so-so
It was on T-Mobile's service
Mediorce reception

Q's Pros:
It was on Verizon's service
Good as hell reception!
QWERTY keyboard
Speedy Internet
Very good camera/video quality

Q's Cons:
Video froze the entire phone
Keypad didn't work well.
Synching was hard to do.
Refurbished ones are worse than the brand new ones (If Motorola and/or windows fixes the problems, I may give it another shot {not holding my breath}).

This is all i could put in due to the fact that I'm at work. What's your...

MPX220 Rom

Hello all, new to this forum, i recently purchased a mpx220, and i found out that the rom has never been updated, soft volume and so on. i've check a few other forums and nobody can tell me where to find the updated rom, but with enough searching i found it. Now my question is, how do i get it to the phone so that the phone will update, or i can copy and paste it to the file system of the phone, but where in the phones file system do i put the updated file so that the phone will recognize it and update. Other than that, i love the phone. Please help !!!!!!!!

TMobile Dash ???

I recently purchased a pocket PC from Verizon and i'm still in the trial period and am hoping to make a decision this week about what to do. It works well for what I need but is not user friendly at all. I've discovered that whlie a stylus seems nice, it's not when I really want a workable phone as well.

I took a look at the Dash tonight and fell in love with the ease of use I experienced. I believed with a 1 GB microSD i'd be set. Iwas about to make the purchase but then it came to my attention that it was WM for smartphones and not WM Pocket PC. Really the only reason I wanted the WM pocket pc was to balance my checkbook in Excel and track my workouts in Excel. I'm new to the PDA world. Would I be able to download onto my device,...

PPC-6700

I was wondering the best way to put ringers on this phone. Also I heard there was a program you could buy for about 40 dollars and then the phone could be used as a modem without having to pay it to Sprint. Has anyone heard of this? Most importantly tho, the ringers.

My fiancee wants to upgrade to a new phone that supports the higher speed UMTS data on Cingular.
First, it's important that it has bluetooth and tethers since she will use the data on the laptop and as well needs to be able to store tasks, contacts, and calendar from her PC. Any suggestions?

Help needed choosing new PDA

Does the Palm Treo 700 W allow viewing and editing of attachments such as word, excel, powerpoint? Also, is there a Palm Treo 700 W that has international service? I am also considering the UTStarcom PPC or6700 or XV-6700 or HTC Apache. Comments on how these compare to the Treo are appreciated. Thanks!
