well, heres the deal
iv had a 700w with verizon for about 6 months..works awsome, voice quality is great and the speaker is loud

i work for sprint and just got a 700wx setup on an employee plan, i got the 700wx off someone...when i got it running voice quality sucked and speaker was probably half as loud as that of my verizon. i went into a corp store and they replaced it with a brand new one...same problem!

am i having bad luck?
or does the 700wx just suck voice quality wise, and i should get a 700p or wait for the new 750 series to come out..


id really like to keep the sprint phone..evdo is twice as fast as verizons..and obviously the killer employee plan

Whenever I try to go to my hotmail account, I get a Lock Icon at the top and my blackjack freezes. I'm able to get back to the home screen, but the internet icon will not respond. Any ideas?

I am going to be using a Q as an organizer. How is the calendar on the Q? Is it rinky-dink or will it satisfy my needs for an organizer?

I have one other problem as well, I have my Blackjack synced to my Yahoo email, yet it does not notify me when I get new emails. When I first set-up the phone to my Yahoo account it had all my emails in the inbox, but since I set it up, it hasnt notified me of any new emails. Any advice???

I have this frustrating problem with my Blackjack......Everytime I sign on to AIM or MSN Messenger within minutes Im signed off. This happens over and over again, I can't get the thing to stay logged into either account? Anyone else have this problem?

I just went back to the Q. Smart move, considering the Smartphone/PDA options that Verizon has. I'd like to know which is the best Smartphone out there: The Q, the Blackjack, or the Dash?

Does anyone know if and how I might be able to upgrade the Out-Of-Box bluetooth functionality of any Windows Mobile/Palm OS smartphone to support A2DP and streaming audio support for stereo output to Stereo BT headsets e.g. Motorola\HT820. Currently the only Smartphone I know that supports this functionality is the Motorola Q. I have it and It REALLY SUCKS!!!I want to change phones but can't find a quality CDMA Smartphone that has this feature. Pleeeeze HELP!!!

I own the Cingular 8125 and am havign a few issues I would like to get resolved.

First of all, I used to be able to receive MMS messages and view the pictures/sound clips in them, but now when I receive an MMS and try to download it I get the message saying:

"Unable to receive your message(s). Your message(s) notifications will remain in the inbox."

Also, I purchased a 2GB memory card and when I first inserted it, it was working fine. I think after I took it out once or I restarted the phone it says "Not installed".

Any help?

I have a Samsung BlackJack.
When I setup a webex meeting, webex emails me an .ics file that is the calendar entry for the meeting. It shows up in my email, has an calendar icon, but I can't open it and add it to my calendar.

Anybody have any ideas?

BlackJack is my primary outlook client. I do not use Outlook on a desktop, but Outlook Web Access, so I don't have a regular client I can open it with and then sync.

I have short video clips that I active sync to my device, but they can't play there. Do I use Windows Media 9 series to alter something? if yes. HOW? 😉

Last night I found out that WM5 is not compatible with Vista. Personally, I think that's BS, so does anyone know anything more on the topic, cause its been over two weeks since I last synced (I'm nervous about losing data) and cx's are asking?

I currently have the 650 and it has been acting a bit crazy for the last couple months. I am eligible for an upgrade but am unsure of what to do. I hear the 700WX is the way to go but I wonder if there is anyone out there who has one already that can answer a couple Q's for me? Here we go...

1) Have they improved the bluetooth at all on this model? Is there still a 3 second delay for call transfer unless you use the "wakeup" feature on your earpiece?
2) I obviously am using the Palm OS right now, is the OS in this model stable? What are the major differences from Palm to Windows on this model?
3) I am a mortgage professional and I use software on my phone right now that serves as a loan tracker and calculator, is there a version for win...

I spent close to an hour tonight at the Verizon Wireless store comparing the Treo 700w to the Verizon XV6700. Even though I preferred the form factor of the 6700 over the Treo, I went with the Treo 700 for one major reason, the 6700 suffered from a creamy/yellowish tint to all of its white colors, a problem I experienced with its predecessor, the Audiovox 6600, which led me to return that device.

The Treo 700 by comparison had clean and crisp whites that had less if any yellowish/creamy tint.

Except when I opened *my* Treo 700, the one I bought, it had yellowish tints to all its whites that were equal if not worse than the store's 6700 demo unit.

So this leads me to ask, what in the &%$* is the problem with these devices. Why are th...

I'm now using Active Sync 4.2 to sync Outlook 2003 with my Cingular 3125 running Windows Mobile 5. It's working well, although I hate - make that HATE - Outlook after using Palm software. I'm very happy with the 3125 though.

I'm hoping that Outlook 2007 will be a better product than the 2003 version. Has anyone heard whether Microsoft plans to upgrade Active Sync 4.2 to sync Outlook 2007 with Windows Mobile 5? I will feel totally screwed if they don't!
