Google has refreshed the mobile browser-based version of Google.com for the iOS and Android platforms. The new version includes integration with Google's Places service. Now, below the search field, Google.com shows icons that let users automatically search for restaurants, coffee shops and bars. By selecting the "more" option, users are taken to a browser version of Places that offers all the search options, adding fast food, shops, attractions, gas stations, ATMs and more. The browser will remember recent locations and create a location history for easier searching. The revised Google.com for mobile browsers is available on the iPhone, iPad, and on all Android devices.
