T-Mobile this week launched HiFi Ringers, a service featuring ringtones that are real, recorded music clips. To promote the launch, T-Mobile customers can download three free HiFi Ringers this month (normally $1.99 each). The launch coincides with the industry's first multi-carrier release of a "HiFi" ringer - a clip from the song "Happy Valentine's Day" by OutKast. In addition to T-Mobile, AT&T Wireless and Cingular will offer the ringtone for $2.49.
