FCC Outs Motorola i1X/i1Q for Sprint Nextel

Documents spotted on the Federal Communications Commission web site provide a few details about an unannounced handset from Motorola. The Motorola i1X/i1Q supports the 800MHz spectrum that Sprint Nextel uses for its iDEN network, in addition to Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and FM radios. The FCC documents do not include images or a draft user manual, but the device's name and support for Wi-Fi strongly suggest that this will be a follow up to the i1 Android smartphone that Sprint Nextel sold last year.

Earlier this year, Motorola announced a partnership with Bullitt to make a new range of rugged phones. On the FCC web site, a new phone has become public that seems to be the first product of that relationship.

Please have CDMA?4G Data

If they add CDMA or 4G data to it, I will get rid of my BB 8350i. If not... they can keep it....

It would be sweet if they did an encore to the hybrid program and make this one have dual radios for cdma and iden. But life's not that good...
