HTC Confirms Gingerbread Update for Handful of Phones

An HTC spokesperson confirmed to Slashgear that the Desire HD, Desire Z, Desire and Incredible S will all be updated from Android 2.2 Froyo to Android 2.3 Gingerbread by the end of June.

None of those phones are available in the US...
US Cellular has the Desire. Just plain "Desire" NOT the HD or Z variant so they're not getting this update going by how the article reads. Weird. Was this question towards HTC asked in Europe or something? Cause theres no mention of US based models such as the Evo, myTouch 4g, Incredible, etc. All high end models. myTouch 4g has second generation processor. Absolutely should get updates
But seriously WTF HTC??? U.S. Cellular? How the phuck does a lowly carrier like that get updates before Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile? Those carriers have ten times more users. Oh well thank god for xda
