Doesn't make sense

This cannot be the announcement. Sprint said industry first, not a new phone.
No way. Kyocera? Uh-uh. It had better be something seriously awesome. This story is a plant by Sprint to throw us off from the real announcement. Nice try, Hesse.

Calm Down

The Echo is obviously not what the event is for. Phones like this barely receive a mention. We will just have to wait and see I guess what the announcement truly is about. Bloomberg has never broke any timely tech news of any sort, including this "news."

Why would this matter

The Zio sucks, Sanyo/Kyocera haven't launched a game changing phone since the 9000, what 5 years ago. There is no way that this is the major, industry first announcement the invite mentions.

If this is all they have in store for tomorrows event, I will cancel my account on the spot...I was hoping for some webOS or Windows Phone 7 luv.....Android is burnt out. Im sick of getting played on the system updates. And u definately don't name anything made by Kyocera as your flagship phone!!!
Yup! Very, very lame! I'll wait until after the Mobile World Congress which will happen next week to see if they'll have any new phones. If not, I'm not patient any more! They increased $10 for all smart phone and think that this will be the best phon...

Oh please do... I'd like to see you pay an ETF just because you didn't like the new phone Sprint was offering. lol.
That has got to be the short bus statement of the month. Congrats.

My guess is that this is an HTC device for the announcement.

AN LG With 3D Screen and Dual Core Processor?

This would be my guess. It has been seen running wild within news forums. This certainly would be an industry first on both aforementioned technologies. No glasses needed for the 3D! Very cool!
